ANOMALITH Main Characters: Roles and Voice Cast

ANOMALITH follows Reona Minazuki’s search for her missing best friend, Arisa Kato, with Yuiga Koda supporting her Dives and Kyoka Sudo, Imari Fushimi and May Hibiya handling command, research and security at the Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office. The cast also includes Kaede Mori, a mysterious person Reona encounters during a Dive, and Girl, who temporarily accompanies Reona and Arisa in the anomalized mall.

Reona Minazuki is the protagonist and a 17-year-old Diver for the government-backed Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office. After escaping a dysfunctional home, she met Arisa Kato while living on the streets. Despite their different backgrounds, they connected, and Arisa became Reona’s only friend.

Arisa is a student at Koin Girls’ Academy, a prestigious school, and often spent time with Reona. Their visit to a mall ended in an Anomalization that trapped them inside and separated them. After surviving, Reona chose to become a Diver so she could return to the Anomaly Zones and find Arisa.

A strange power awakens within Reona during her first Dive, as other Divers fall victim to the Zone. She survives and ventures deeper into the Anomaly Zones. Her friend’s disappearance, the origins of the Zones and the mystery of her powers are central threads of her story.

Yuiga Koda is Reona’s partner and the person to remember for communications during Dives. An injury on her first Dive forced her to withdraw from the front lines. She continues supporting Reona as an Operator, bringing precise assistance to her investigations.

Kyoka Sudo leads the organization as its founder and Chief. Calm, composed and intensely rational, she rose from a disposable Diver to the head of the Office. Before becoming a Diver, she survived being stranded in an Anomaly Zone by finding an exit through her own efforts.

Imari Fushimi handles research and develops equipment from anomalous materials recovered from the Zones. Her soft-spoken, easygoing personality comes with a more unsettling enthusiasm for her work. She enjoys studying anomalous objects even though she knows the research harms her body.

May Hibiya heads security and previously served as an experienced, elite Diver. Her current responsibilities include overseeing the storage and security of anomalous objects. She also protects sensitive information concerning Anomaly Zones, making information security part of her role alongside safeguarding the objects themselves.

Kaede Mori is introduced as a mysterious person Reona meets on a Dive. Girl belongs to the mall incident, temporarily joining Reona and Arisa while they are trapped there. After witnessing Anomalies kill her parents, Girl is unable to speak because of the shock.
